TUNES-DAY: Toby Mobbs “Surrender”.

For today’s Tune, we asked local musician, Toby Mobbs, to fill us in on the story behind his song “Surrender”. Check it, blast it and share it:

‘Surrender’ is about knowing you don’t have to be perfect in order to be perfect for someone else. You don’t need to have everything to offer something.

Dangar Island is a small forested island in the Hawkesbury River with a population of 300. It hosts the only open mic in Australia that is only accessible by boat. I had the pleasure of playing there last year and was joined by an excellent impromptu band comprising of Dangar residents. Recorded by the night’s host Philip Doggett and mastered by Daniel Lawrence.”ategic dive, and let fate deal with the outcome. The outcome might not always be ideal, but from my experiences its better to take the plunge.
